Trevor68 70 Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 Hi, Refresh people fails instantly, but scan media gets to 94.9% before it fails, I assume it is reaching something it does not like? I have never seen this before so not sure where to look embyserver.txt
Happy2Play 9785 Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 Sorry the database itself. You will need to rename/delete the library.db. Corrupt: database disk image is malformed Your only issue is all of your userdata is in that same database. If you are Premiere user the Server Configuration Backup plugin is capable of backing up and restoring said userdata.
Trevor68 70 Posted October 26, 2020 Author Posted October 26, 2020 (edited) Bugger, I wonder if that is a symptom of an old SSD on the way out maybe? Yes Premiere user here so will use the restore function. Can I just untick Library Definition? So I just manually delete the library.db file then? Then what, recreate my libraries I guess? Nothing needs to be recreated manually. First ensure you have a current backup via the plugin Shutdown Emby, delete or rename/move the library.db Start Emby to generate new library.db Perform a full library scan Once scan is complete go to plugin and select the backup to restore and deselect everything except Users and Userdata. Emby should restart
Trevor68 70 Posted October 26, 2020 Author Posted October 26, 2020 Excellent, thanks, looks like the first scan may take a few hours, will hit the restore when it finishes.
