vdatanet 1617 Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 Interlaced content that requires remux (i.e. Blu-ray rips 1080i with DTS audio track) does not play smooth. When I play that content in a supported DTS system (direct play) then playback is smooth. Tested with Apple TV, Android TV, Chrome, ET. HLS specs does not allow interlaced content, so when a remux is required, content must be de-interlaced in the server (a full transcoding is required)
