jriker1 21 Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 (edited) When I try and play a movie with forced subtitles in the Emby Theater app or Chrome on my PC the subtitles don't show. If I switch to the full subtitles same deal nothing shows. These are MKV files with the subs in the MKV. It is transcoding HEVC into H264 if that would cause issues. If I open the MKV in VLC and turn on subtitles they show as expected. encoding_log.txt Edited October 19, 2020 by jriker1

jriker1 21 Posted October 20, 2020 Author Posted October 20, 2020 (edited) Sure. Just replayed the video at 8:54 - 8:55AM. Subtitles were on but didn't show. I can confirm on my Shield TV Subtitles did show as expected. ffmpeg-transcode-57de0203-277a-469f-8067-18d874545924_1.txt ffmpeg-transcode-e84155eb-6b04-43b6-b9a4-3a025d372f70_1.txt embyserver (2).txt Edited October 20, 2020 by jriker1
