Richard Branches 330 Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 (edited) These menus are way too big: Edited October 16, 2020 by Richard Branches
Luke 42079 Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 Hi, what size is the window? Try making it a little larger.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 What did you do to make them that way? I had to shrink my to about 50% height to replicate. So it is resolution based.

Richard Branches 330 Posted October 16, 2020 Author Posted October 16, 2020 Let me share a full screenshot of the browser...
Happy2Play 9780 Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 (edited) What resolution is the screen as I do not see this behavior, unless I shrink a window. And once window is shrunk ALL dialog pop-ups expand like this. Edited October 16, 2020 by Happy2Play

Happy2Play 9780 Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 But I can replicate by changing my resolution to 1366x768.
Richard Branches 330 Posted December 6, 2020 Author Posted December 6, 2020 I still observe this problem on new 4.5.3 version.
Luke 42079 Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 I believe I lowered the threshold slightly, but yes, on smaller resolutions the menu will center and take up a larger portion of the screen.
Richard Branches 330 Posted December 6, 2020 Author Posted December 6, 2020 It wasn't like that before.
Richard Branches 330 Posted March 18, 2021 Author Posted March 18, 2021 I'm using the latest 4.6.0.33 beta version, can this be corrected?
Luke 42079 Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 We only do this at lower resolutions. Does that answer your question?
Richard Branches 330 Posted March 18, 2021 Author Posted March 18, 2021 Was that a change you made in recent versions of the server? I wonder because ever since I'm using Emby since 2018 it never looked that way until a previous version of the server I don't know exactly.
Luke 42079 Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 It's been like that forever. I might be able to lower the threshold just a tad lower, but not too much lower.
Luke 42079 Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Actually the threshold is already very low. I can't lower it anymore. What resolution is your desktop?
Richard Branches 330 Posted March 18, 2021 Author Posted March 18, 2021 I don't use it maximized but now that you mention it, the menus appear correctly when it's maximized, what gives?
Happy2Play 9780 Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Windowized is below the set resolution size.
Richard Branches 330 Posted March 18, 2021 Author Posted March 18, 2021 Could it be the 1366x768 resolution? how is it compared to a 1080p one?

Only way I can reproduce is shrink my window. So your screen resolution (maximized) is the lowest resolution before it transition to what you see. I get this all the time when I am in the browser debug console.
Luke 42079 Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Under 640 vertically, that's what happens. I don't think I can go lower than that because when the resolution is low you really need the larger menu to see what you're clicking.
