Permission Settings Based on File Type?

Hi all,

This isn't really an Emby question per se, but I've been having trouble finding information.

As you know, the user setting "Allow Media Deletion From" in Emby let's anyone with access delete media files. I do not want this to ever be possible at all; thus, I'm looking for a way to edit the Emby DSM user to have varied permissions based on file type.

For instance:

.png, .jpg - read, write (for artwork)

.mkv, .mp4 - read only (so no deletion is possible)

 

Does any Synology user know if this is possible to do somehow? Obviously I can switch entire folders or shares to read-only for Emby, but this creates a new issue when it comes to artwork.
