Emby don't like a film

Hi,

I have a movie that stops working when I identify it:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094641/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0

If I rename it and put it for example 002, it recognizes it as Lethal Weapon 2, and I can see it, see the information, etc ... without problems.

But, even leaving the filename 002, if I identify it correctly, it stops working.

Hi.  What does "it stops working" mean? What, exactly is happening?

Thanks.

A fantastic black windows

But, same film and same file with another name (and another identification):

Hi.  Please show us the exact file structures and naming that are causing the two scenarios.  Also, what type of library?

It's a GDrive unit:

001 remains with the "auto ID"

002 use manually the ID from IMDB

Hi.  If you look at our naming conventions for multi-version items, you will see that you have not followed them properly here.  Your two versions need to start with the folder name.

You see now the files later a lot of changes.

But the original file (only one) was name (year).mkv

No, the problem is not with the identification, it's when the film is identified as that movie

Hi. If you don't name the items properly, the folder is going to be interpreted as a folder of different videos instead of a single movie.  I believe that is your issue here.

What metadata providers are enabled for your movie library, and in what order?

Originally I only have one video, and it's NAME - (YEAR)

in the capture two come out, because I have tried with two different formats to test

Can you please show us what the folder and file names and structure are now.  With what you showed before, I would expect problems.

Did you try entering that title into moviedb search to see what it returns?

yes, and return the correct ID from this film.

and......I have finally found out what is happening (although not why it is happening)

I have been doing the tests with the laptop from work (much more powerful and comfortable) and it gave me this problem.
But yesterday I used my personal laptop, and the problem does not appear.

I have also tried to view the movie data directly from the server, and it does not give me the problem either.

So it must be something particular on the work computer, because the problem occurs in Chrome and Edge

I'm sorry I made you dizzy this way 😔

Your work computer or network may be blocking some sites or specific types of traffic.  This is common in a business environment.

Is there any errors in the browser debug console (F12)?  But your work system may be blocking things as ebr mentioned above.
