How to change album artist for an album?

I have an album that's connected to the wrong album artist.  I can't see anywhere in the UI to change the connection between the album and the album artist.  If I go to the album and edit its metadata, there is no place to change or set the album artist.  If I go to the album artist and view their details, there is no way to remove one of the listed albums from the album artist.  I tried changing the album artist setting in each of the album's tracks to a different value, but the album remains linked to the original album artist.  How do I change this?

remove the album from emby

delete the nfo for the album

edit the metadata (say mp3tag) make sure the AA field matches the MBz tag or edit that as well

return to emby (poss in new directory if say artist dir does not exist)

emby should see new AA

Thanks, that works.  It's too bad this metadata is buried so deeply in the Mac files.  It would be nice if Emby had a feature to let you edit this.

cool - i was very tired and did it very quickly glad i didn't miss a step

think the albumartist is key to how music works and links to loads of things internally that it would be difficult to do - hence why its not been done after being asked for numerous times

the remove modify add back dance works though and it should now not happen again for that AA as the metadata is now correct.
