freezes with 4K H265 on Nvidia 1050Ti

Hello 

 

With some 4K videos i have artefacts and freezes whit Nvidia 1050Ti , but not with VAAPI Device ?

 

Qnap 872n with GTX 1050 Ti

Yes., hevc_cuvid is known to have issues with 10 bit videos. Right now, the only way to work around is to disable the hevc_cuvid decoder. 

It's an issue that we're aware of, and we hope to be able to provide a fix for it soon.

If you would be willing to try a beta version - today's beta includes a new decoder for testing that might fix this issue. 

It is called NVDEC.Ex and it is disabled by default:

You'd need to enable it and move it to the top.

Hello i have tested and wit some 4K i have 20sec audio delay but no more green screen´s

Does the audio delay occur with software transcoding as well or with Nvidia hwa only ?

sorry i have reboot my server and now it works fine 

 

i have play my others 4k HEVC files and no worries
