Google Home Mini question

Hi there. Apologies if this is posted in the wrong section, I couldn't see a section pertaining to Google Home in particular.

I just was wondering if emby is able to replicate what I had working with Google Play Music, for streaming music to my Google Home Mini's.  I searched the forum for an answer to my question, but found a couple of older posts, that seemed to be a little unclear, so I just wanted to confirm my scenario and goal align before I pay for the Emby Premiere service.

I stumbled upon emby yesterday while searching for a solution to Google removing Google Play music. I own all my music that i've purchased over many years, so having to subscribe to a service just to listen to music that I already own is a kick in the teeth, and I flat out refuse to do it. Especially seeing that i've had the ability for the last 3 years to do it without a subscription to anything. I have 3 Google Home mini's around my family house and we use them 99% simply for playing music, so Google removing the ability to ask my GH mini's to play "artist" makes them pretty much useless to me.

Anyway, I saw on a random forum someone mention emby as a possible solution. I thought i'd give it a go. Congrats to the dev team, as I found installing each part of the process incredibly easy and trouble free. I created an account, installed the emby server on my Netgear ReadyNAS 314 (where I already had copies of all my music files) and set the server up, imported all my files. Installed the app on my Android phone to confirm it works over my network. All good. I installed the emby service app on my google home mini and confirmed the activation phrase works. Now the last piece in the puzzle appears to be that I need the Premier service to complete the setup. I hate wasting money, so I just want to confirm before I purchase it that I can say the following types of things and have them play directly on my Google Home Mini:

"Okay Google, ask emby home to play {artist}"
"Okay Google, ask emby home to play {song name}"
"Okay Google, ask emby home to play {album name}"

Emby home does not currently support direct playback on the Google home. We plan on supporting this in the near future.
