@quickmicTalking about ratings and vote count, I'm a bit confused about that.
Until now I have always had userrating sync disabled, I don't do personal rating. But I update IMDB ratings and vote count with tmm, those values are written in the movie, series and episodes nfo's.

Kodi is showing all ratings but vote count is always "0" for all movies, shows and episodes.
Is it even possible to sync vote counts in add-on mode?

No I need the info how it's called via Emby API Seems not in the Database, still checking....

- minor sync queue improvements
- add user when using multi Emby server issue
- db lockup fixed
- multiserver queue jobs
- rollback userrating modification. Value is back from 0-10 not 0-100
- fix xsp playlists

Comment:
I removed several try -> except coding. I wanna know, what causes an issue and not just ignore them.
This could cause in errors if there are any... At least if there are issue, I can see them in the logs...

No database resync required unless you wanna change the userration format.

@quickmicI have updated from version 6.0.8-build 48 (ex9) to 6.0.9 build 36 (ex4). Here i have an automatic recync, no problem, but also my artwork cache will be deleted again, is this correct?

@quickmicwould it be possible to sync Emby chapter points to Kodi bookmarks (AFAIK Kodi doesn't support chapters)

Cache all artwork is super slow as compare to 6.4 version

Please could you make cache all artwork available in plugin menu it save a lot of time going into setting >addon> emby> etc to active the process  sincerely appreciate. In the 5xxx version I added the option to favorite then link to Skin submenu where I can easily direct my WAN clients to click to upadate catch when their system is to populate artwork's

Please send me a log after progress is stuck.

I'll perform a test, yes I have changed something compared with previous version.

Most likely issue, webserver is not enabled.

Btw. Here works the artwork caching process with the newest version.

Database resync is mandatory if you are coming from version 6.0.8. And yes, this will wipe the artwork cache as well.

I can add an option keeping the artwork, but I don't know it it valid.

Kodi supports chapters, but I can check bookmarks too.

I tried yesterday if chapters are synced but the chapters I see in Emby I couldn't get working in Kodi. But it could be I'm just doing something wrong. 

FYI I'm testing intro skip in Emby, that uses chapters. Would be great if we could use that in Kodi also.

so i see the newest status of rating and also the votes, both are important for me and emby import no votes or import the ratings in real time. This is becauce i use the Kodi addon.

 

But if i have modified something or watched a movie, emby resync the file and overwrite or ignore this parts.Is there a way to make the communication between Kodi and Emby better?

Hi. 

This means that I could update ratings and votes with Light IMDb Ratings Update and they would propagate automatically to Emby? Or they will only remain in Kodi database?

Will be fixed in next version but should also work if you enable Kodi's webserver manually and don't set it to https

Updating to EXPERIMENTAL VERSION 6.0.9 build 36 (ex4 caused problems with syncing my recordings again.

Active recordings and finisht recordings are not showing up. Not when Kodi is open and not after restarting Kodi. Repairing the recordings library also went wrong, nothing happened.

I needed to do a full database reset to get the new added recorded tv shows.

I also noticed that when I manually do a database reset Kodi hangs when it should be restarting or shut down Kodi and after restarting it myself I get a few questions like if I want user ratings enabled etc. but I don't get to choose the Emby server and user and a popup for what libraries I want to add. I need to add my libraries myself.  

 

I also miss the option "Update library" that was an option in 5.3.4

And the option to reset database, restart Emby for Kodi are only able to use from within the Next gen settings and are not useable as a direct link (favorites) in Kodi. That used to be an option as well in 5.3.4 and was handy from time to time.

Also the Emby settings are not reachable as a direct link anymore for as far as I have seen. I used these links a lot so if the can come back that would be appreciated.

@heulaI think @quickmic is working on this. If the sync process does not proceed after selecting the local database reset option and rebooting, select the sever connection option in E4K configuration. After selecting the server and user login, the sync process should proceed.
