He's using the same skin as me. It's skin related, not addon related. I have that "0" on homescreen widgets, it exists to show unwatched episodes of a TV show, but it's also showing if the Widget is related to movies. I didn't know the "0" also shows in some views inside the library. I will report this later in the kodi.tv skin page. 1

quickmic 1703 Posted March 22, 2021 Author Posted March 22, 2021 I meant on default estuary skin. If browse threw the TV-Shows list, it looks ok.

Create a widget in the main menu for "recently added tv shows" and create another in the "movies" entry, for "recently added movies". Hover over the widgets, you will notice for TV Shows, it's showing the "unwatched episodes" count If you switch to the "Movies" entry and check widgets for recently movies you added, it's showing "0" on that field. Cause there's nothing to count, since its not a TV Show. It's skin related. I was going to report it today on kodi.tv (skin thread) but i'm currently busy dealing with another issue to report to @quickmic Can you do the post for us?
embyL0VER 71 Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 (edited) @quickmic you can access that information in Estuary if you open the "information" page for a movie for example. (But displaying that info maybe depends on the skin.) Every movie that doesn't has a tagline instead shows a "0" below the movie title. Tagline on the movie Avatar in Germany is for example : "Betritt die Welt von Pandora" Edited March 22, 2021 by embyL0VER 1

djhifi 56 Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 (edited) @quickmicOn another issue I would also like to ask: I created a library on EMBY for mixed-media (Anime) in order to have TV Shows and Movies there. I was just going to E4K (5.2.04) options on KODI to remove my previous Anime library (only for TV Shows) and the E4K is showing: "Anime (TV Shows) (MyServerName)" "Anime (Movies) (MyServerName)" Shouldn't it be showing only 1 library like Emby Server has setup? wtf? And btw, still ontopic of removal: Its so slow removing the previous Anime library from E4K. Like 1% per minute, or more. Edited March 22, 2021 by djhifi

I don't have mixed content on my Emby server, so I took that piece of code straight from 4.x. Was it ever differently?

BaukeZwart 94 Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 The 0 is not viable via context info, also not in my skin. I need to check how to replicate it on default skin.

Was it ever differently? No idea, actually. First time trying this because I wanted to start to store Anime movies and shows on the same library. But hold on. I went into the living room and its now showing "Anime (MyServerName" (dynamic listing) and removed those 2 entries I mentioned above. So it's picking it up from the server it seems. I probably didn't wait long enough for the addon to do its thing? Its syncing my Animes in the top (no idea why or what) but I will wait till everything finishes up and add the Mixed Content properly to the .db and see how it goes. 1
quickmic 1703 Posted March 22, 2021 Author Posted March 22, 2021 I found another issue. Musicvideos are not playable. Will be fixed in next version.

Was it ever differently? Ok so it's doing it's thing, slowly. "Processing updates kodi" on 0% for a while, but the addon eventually fixes itself and removes Anime TV Shows and Anime Movies from the dynamic listing and only shows (as intended) the new mixed library "Anime" (dynamic listing). Im waiting for the progress bar to finish (no idea what it is doing since It doesnt remove the previous library) and I will add the new mixed content next. I think this could be looked at. As it is, seems a bit messy and confusing. Specially having a TV Show library only for TV Shows, and adding a new one on the server for mixed content and remove that previous library on Kodi and importing the newly modified one. It's messy Edited March 22, 2021 by djhifi 1

I never noticed this before, can this be E4K related? skin related I'm using "old timey" Confluence and this how it looks over here (also tried default Estuary) Edited March 22, 2021 by CharleyVarrick

If I start a video in Kodi and pause it midway through, it correctly appears in the "Continue Watching" section in Emby web interface, but when I then finish watching it in Kodi, progress is not correctly updated in Emby. It is marked as watched as expected, but it remains under "Continue Watching" and with the progress it had when it was first paused. It then looks like this: Came to report same issue. Episiodes which are watched are still appearing in "Continue Watching" list, I need to to use the "Reset Resume Point" option in the context menu every time. Great work Dev.

I was playing around with the Beta1 LibreElec release for Kodi 19 on my rpi4 at the time, and had stubbornly decided not to follow the developer's advice not to do an upgrade install to move from Kodi 18 to Kodi 19. So I chalked it up to that. But after reverting back to Kodi 18 from a backup earlier tonight, I am still seeing playback status that isn't updating properly after resuming a partially watched video. So it wasn't related to my failure to follow instructions when updating LibreElec afterall.

This is normal while watching a video, but should continue after stopped. Plugin directly locked updates after your first playback ysterday at and seems never released. 2021-03-21 23:56:44.274. Did you try a reboot? Hi @quickmic, I've tried, in order, manual update library—the side menu left of screen restarted Kodi reboot my MiBox. Upon Kodi start up, I get the "Welcome, user" message, I see the ticker indicating it's syncing/updating the library including the show names it's processing, followed by compressing database. After that sequence, the issue remains the same, it shows episodes 4 and 8, but it's missing the rest of the six episodes. I can see the shows in Emby's web gui, all eight episodes. (I just realized the show I deleted from Sonarr still appears in Kodi but not in Emby web gui! I guess they stopped syncing?) Edited March 23, 2021 by vurt

Try set the sync date back a few days: Shutdown Kodi, open and manipulate the following files: /home/quickmic/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.emby-next-gen/settings.xml open it, search the following line: <setting id="LastIncrementalSync">2021-03-07T08:14:08z</setting> set the date one or two days back (before you modified/added the episodes). open this file: /home/quickmic/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.emby-next-gen/sync.json manipulate this line: "Date": "2021-03-07T08:13:20Z" Also one or two days back. restart Kodi and check. DON'T manipulate the files when Kodi is running. They get overwritten on exit. 1
BaukeZwart 94 Posted March 23, 2021 Posted March 23, 2021 @quickmic I found where you can make the mysterious “0” show up in the Estuary Skin when having an empty tag line. On the main screen select the Movie tile in the top left corner and then select a movie. If the movie doesn’t have a tag line you will see the “0” show up. 1
