Help with Emby Connect

I am using an android phone and chromecast. It will connect and say ready to cast on my TV screen but nothing will play. I was told to use emby connect. I try logging in and don't seem to get a response and the forgotten password feature doesn't seem to work. Whats the best way to get it to play reliably?
