Speck13 0 Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Hey all, When adding video files to media browser, it will automatically find the movie art and add it to the media browser server. What about custom folders in the directory? For instance, I add movies in a set or trilogy to 1 folder e.g. 'The Matrix Trilogy.' The Matrix Trilogy folder will not contain any art. Is there a way to add art manually to this folder? Thanks, Speck
ebr 16169 Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Well, first, for your specific example, look at our collections support - including a plug-in that will create the collections for you automatically. It will find things like the one you stated and get metadata and art for them. Then, for any truly custom folders that you want to have art, simply hit the "Edit" button from the web app then hit the "Images" button and search online or provide your own. There are some good tutorials in the KB section on this stuff.
blisspark 0 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 There are some good tutorials in the KB section on this stuff. I am a newbie here also interested in custom image dimesions in pixels and so forth. What is KB??? I would love to dig in to it as well. That would be helpfull.
Luke 42077 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Here's a decent article. It's mostly up to date: http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/3385-a-learners-guide-to-understanding-artwork-in-media-browser/ Also, you can click the help buttons in the web interface which will take you to our wiki. The wiki doesn't list exact image dimensions but it does go over the available images.
Abobader 3464 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Good day, Also old tut's that have good walk-throw for adding imaging, it sure out dated now, but it still can help in some point: http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/730-mb3-server-using-the-web-client/ My best
