Evan0123 0 Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 When trying to login to emby.media it gives me an error that I have an invalid password and but it allows me to login to the forum with my username and password. I’ve tried to reset and it still doesn’t allow me to login but again allows for login to the forum.

Can you also give us a bit more info. Are you running your own Emby Server or connecting to some one else's Server?

Are you sure they haven't turned off your access to their server, or maybe they are doing some system maintenance and their server is down?

I can still connect off my Shield and Xbox, I just can't actually login to my account

If you can login on 2 devices that would seem to indicate things are working. What device or app can't you login?

I’m trying to login to Emby.media on my PC with my Emby details, I can login to my account on the forum but it always says invalid password when I try to login to the media website.
Carlo 4561 Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 There are two ways you can login via apps. One way is with the local account credentials and the other with Emby Connect. They each have their own screen to use. For example try looking for a manual setup or similar. You then enter the server IP or name, port and then the username/password.

I'm sorry man nothing is working, I'm just not sure what to do I can't access Emby on my PC Do you have Discord or something I can screen share what I'm doing?
Carlo 4561 Posted November 15, 2020 Posted November 15, 2020 You can post pics here as we know your username. Passwords should not be shown of course. Feel free to PM if you like. This sounds like it may be a server issue and nothing you can do as the admin may need to remove/add you back again.

The Emby Server would be the one I'm connected to? It's my cousin's coworker and I just connect to his for free

Then send me a PM with the userid and one-time use password you get on teamviewer launch. I'll connect and open a chat window. I can assist you now for the next hour or two or anytime tomorrow.
