Parjai 0 Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 (edited) Starting today, I can no longer access the server dashboard or just browse my media from my server. It just loads a black screen with the emby logo on it (see attached). If I try connecting from my laptop, I can load the server dashboard and view media. My two primary clients (Apple TV 4Ks) are able to login and playback media. I've tried reinstalling, restarting Emby and my server, cleared browser cache, tested with multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Internet Explorer), no effect. According to the dashboard that opens on my laptop, I'm on 4.5.1.0 I'm really confused as to what's happening. Edited September 30, 2020 by Parjai
Luke 42080 Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Hi, try just putting localhost:8096 in the browser address bar. Does that help?
Parjai 0 Posted September 30, 2020 Author Posted September 30, 2020 Just tried it, redirects to http://localhost:8096/web/index.html, but same result, just the black screen and logo. By the way, now my laptop does the same thing when trying to access. The only thing that works at the moment on either machine is Emby Theater (tried loading and testing it after this started happening).
Happy2Play 9782 Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 (edited) What browser are you using? Are there browser console errors? Edited September 30, 2020 by Happy2Play
Parjai 0 Posted September 30, 2020 Author Posted September 30, 2020 I've tested with multiple browsers - Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Edge. I have not seen any browser errors that I'm aware of.
Happy2Play 9782 Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 If I were to guess Emby is not redirecting properly for some reason as none of my urls show any *.html page. Manually entering a direct html page redirects me. http://localhost:8096/web/index.html to http://localhost:8096/web/index.html#!/home http://localhost:8096/web/dashboard.html to http://localhost:8096/web/index.html#!/dashboard
Luke 42080 Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Can you supply the contents of the browser debug console? Thanks.
Parjai 0 Posted September 30, 2020 Author Posted September 30, 2020 sure, but you'll have to forgive me... not sure how to do that.
Happy2Play 9782 Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Just now, Parjai said: sure, but you'll have to forgive me... not sure how to do that. Hitting F12 will bring up the debug console.

Luke 42080 Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 Can you please attach the complete console contents? Thanks.
Parjai 0 Posted October 1, 2020 Author Posted October 1, 2020 not sure what you're else you're looking for, that's it...
Luke 42080 Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 Are you in incognito mode? Do you have any browser extensions installed?
Parjai 0 Posted October 1, 2020 Author Posted October 1, 2020 (edited) No, just regular mode, and only extensions are LastPass, and uBlock Origin. I haven't had issues in the past with them, but I tried it with uBlock disabled, same black screen. UPDATE: Just to try it, I turned ON Incognito... and it worked. Edited October 1, 2020 by Parjai
