Mibok 158 Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Hi, i would like to request the option to get es-MX metadata from TMDB for tv series. This is already done for Movies which is a great plus given that many movies aren't named the same in Europe (Spain) and Latin America (Mexico), this also applies for TV series mainly on the episode naming and the synopsis given that some characters names changes between countries. To put an example of this you can watch for The Simpsons S02E05: English Title Spain (es-ES) Title Mexico (es-MX) Title Dancing Homer Homer, el bailón Homero, el Animador I asked to TVDB to add an option for another spanish versions of series and they don' seem to care, and taking in account that the info is already available on TMDB and that this is already working for movies, i hope that adding this option won't be so much hassle for you.
Luke 42083 Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Hi, this should be already done. the moviedb plugin handles this the same way for both movies and series. Please let us know if this helps. thanks.
Mibok 158 Posted September 28, 2020 Author Posted September 28, 2020 In that case it seems that there is a bug there. I have done some tests and it appears that currently the plugin is downloading metadata for es-ES in series. In the library used for tests i used this config: And the metadata using the example in my previous post corresponds to es-ES. Should i make a post in the support forum?
Luke 42083 Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Why do you think there is a problem? Did you configure your metadata country? Did you check what movie db has for your titles?

We are not maintaining the query es-MX at episode level as you are in Series and Season Quote 2020-09-28 16:06:09.840 Info HttpServer: HTTP Response 204 to ::1.
