I think you're issue is you're not matching the UNC.

You're library mount in Emby was 192.168.0.160 but I don't see that name as a mount above.

If you go to a movie in your library, go to the detail screen, scroll down to the bottom.

What does it show for the path?

I actually tried it!.... it didn't work.

Also, use a file manager on your Shield, such as X-Plore, to see if the Shield sees the shares.

Ok so to be clear should I change the library from the \\192.168.0.160\Multimedia\4K Movies

To \\QNAP-TS653A\Multimedia \4K Movies

I have just tested with x-plore app CBers the shield see the shares. They have the location shown as this...

/storage/QNAP-TS653A/MULTIMEDIA/4K Movies

Okay, so assuming that the space in the server path you setup is a typo, can you please change that to:

\\QNAP-TS653A\MULTIMEDIA\4K Movies

and then try it...?

I have always just used the network icon and clicked on the qnap map which shows the shared folders (within windows)

You have to know the mounting point in Nvidia Shield:

Mounting point: /storage/YOURSERVER/YOURSHARE
Alternative path in Emby: \\YOURSERVER\YOURSHARE

Guys - take a look at the Beta thread - the CASE of the share name is very important, and must exactly match what you have in Emby.

ie \\server\<share_name>\ in emby will NOT work as the Android TV maps it locally to \\SERVER\<share_name\ !

So you need to change your UNC paths to match, and rescan I'm afraid ...

There's no need to rescan, just set the alternative network path in the Library.

Ah of course - basically have both 

\\media\<share_name>

\\MEDIA\<share_name>    in the optional field.

I will test that now ... I wasn't looking forward to rescanning everything ..
