I have no idea abut plugins. I only know this. While I was fixing with "the Synology dev team" 4k transecoding on full hd tv. Transecoding was fixed, but in the meanwihile something else was broken.

 

Also I see many others are having differant metadata problems on the forum it is not just an isolated problem.

Can you try shutting down the server, then deleting this folder:

/volume1/Emby/plugins

Then start up the server and attach the new server log. thanks.

But all of these current logs are not from startup they are midnight rollover logs.

And not everyone is having the exact same permissions issues, but yes this new way has created issues for some but not all Synology users.

I hope this is it, I have folder arranged different little bit.

 

I deleted Plugins folder from the drive below, it is actually where the Emby is installedplg.thumb.JPG.9e9b564de7ecfda95bb9fa3a97bd86c8.JPG

Now I have this after plg is deleted
