iPad & iPhone Apps Merging??

Hi All,

Thought I read (but now can't find) that the iPad and iPhone apps are going to be merged into one.

 

Is this going to happen? if so any VAGUE idea of timescale?

 

iPhone app isn't working well for me (for my mp3 collection) and I don't want to waste devs time reporting bugs that will probably go away if the apps merge.

Yes thats the idea, is to make the new iPad app an universal which makes the iPhone app 2.0. As far as the timeline goes, its pretty hard to tell, but as and when we start making progress we will update you guys.

The designs are in works. Maybe a teaser would help.

Not to push to much, but since I have delayed holding off on getting an ipad until i hear what is coming up in apple's product lineup, any chance the iphone will merge with the ipad version soon?

We are definitely working on it, other projects have slowed us down a little bit but we want the two apps to be merged for easy maintenance and updates.

Just checking in on the merger of the two app's the iPhone app is falling a bit behind I.E Music results in URL not found etc would be nice to have everything on a single code base
