judgey 13 Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 Hey im trying to add a server via emby connect but after i enter the pin it says accepted but nothing happens its still asking for the pin on my tv. I could do it manually but rather do it via connect . Thank u
Carlo 4561 Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Is this your Emby Server? Did you already associate the the Emby Connect user with a user on the Server? Can you login to the server in a web app using Emby Connect? If all of those are YES: You get the PIN code on your TV correct and then open your browser to the given URL, enter your Emby Connect username, password and PIN correct?
judgey 13 Posted September 17, 2020 Author Posted September 17, 2020 Hey its my emby server the only way i can login is manually not via emby connect. The pin gets accepted but dont remove the pin screen from emby after you put the pin in the url provided by emby
judgey 13 Posted September 17, 2020 Author Posted September 17, 2020 (edited) Pictures the wrong way round but that's what happens Edited September 17, 2020 by judgey
Carlo 4561 Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 OK on that screen you uploaded showing the PIN on the console there are 3 buttons showing. NEXT is the one with focus even though it may not look like it. The button that looks different is the one with focus. Try this again and make sure you get the correct button (one with focus is the one that looks different). This is being fixed.
judgey 13 Posted September 17, 2020 Author Posted September 17, 2020 Thanks mate that sorted that problem 1
Carlo 4561 Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Glad you got that fixed up. The button appearance is in the process of getting fixed so it's more obvious what button has focus.
Klakie 0 Posted May 26, 2025 Posted May 26, 2025 Totally agree, Emby is absolutely useless when it comes down to a pin issue, Kodi is far better.
