Was watching Iron Man and playback stopped about two thirds of the way through as shown in the screenshot under the Activity section.  I have uploaded logs that were created around the 8:48 and 8:49 timestamps.  According to the Dashboard entries it appears Emby simply stopped playing the movie.  I am guessing it thought the movie was over?  I have seen other posts of playback issues, although none that I read indicated any workarounds or solutions for this.  The movie was being played back on a Dell laptop running Windows 10 using the Emby Theater App from raw DVD data on a Netgear ReadyNAS 316.  Subsequent playback using only the VLC media player worked fine.

Hi, Typically when this happens and it only happens to one or two movies but not others it's a media/file problem. Sometimes encoding isn't exactly correct and it will cause a problem.

I'd suggest trying other movies to see if this problem continues and also to replace Iron Man with a new version and see if that fixes your issues.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I will test with other videos and get back in a day or so.

Well, here is the latest.

Tried to play three different movies and all failed.  Iron Man 2  and 10 Cloverfield Lane failed pretty quickly and the client presented the Playback Error screen shown in the attached image file.  Milo and Otis fared a little better and made it to 19:19 where it go stuck and continued to loop back to 19:15.  This loop back repeated for at least 30 minutes before I closed the Emby Theater App.  In all cases The app was no longer responsive.

I am beginning to believe that I have a major configuration issue, although the server and client are both running out of the box with no changes from how things are set from the point they were installed.  Once again, all three features played back normally using the VLC player.  I can upload more log files if needed.

Can you go to the detail screen for one of these failed videos in a web browser and scroll down to the bottom.

Upload a screen capture of the metadata you see there.

Oh well, product seems like it has potential.  Maybe I will try it again someday.

Ah I see you're playing a DVD folder rip. Can you try a normal video file for comparison purposes? Thanks.
