PuNkeD_72 0 Posted September 14, 2020 Posted September 14, 2020 Hi, so Emby seems to be randomly deleting the latest movies that I download. I cant figure out why. Can anybody help? I've attached the logs which show some of the movies being deleted. Thank you in Advance. embyserver-63735689114.txt
Luke 42085 Posted September 14, 2020 Posted September 14, 2020 Hi, emby does not delete your files unless you do it using the menu features in emby. Why do they feel emby deleted the files?
Carlo 4561 Posted September 14, 2020 Posted September 14, 2020 Hi, I took a look at your log and there are no user requests to delete files, HOWEVER during scan Emby is finding files that are no longer present and removing them from the system. So you might want to check whatever other scripts you have running on the server to see what they're doing or check all disks (chkdsk) for errors if you have no scripts or programs running that manipulate your files.
Luke 42085 Posted September 14, 2020 Posted September 14, 2020 That's right, there's no delete activity here. if you'd like to provide more server logs from other times then I'll be happy to check those as well.
