Take Emby Server with me?

I am running Emby Server on my laptop that I use everyday.  It seems to work great so far.  My question is, if I go visit someone and take my laptop with me, is there anything that would get in the way of them downloading Emby on their Roku or Firestick, and connecting to my server?

Your laptop will obviously need to connect to their home network - but once it has, then local clients should be able to find it just as they do on your own network.

Any remote users (if you have any) will obviously no longer be able to connect until it is back on your home network..
