GregMo 24 Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 I know almost nothing when it comes to this stuff so please excuse any assumptions I make here. I'm trying to get Emby to play non-stop like Kodi would using the web app. I can get it to go for a while, this last time was several hours, but then it just stops. The embyserver.txt seems to indicate that everything was going fine and then for some reason I can't deduce, it just stops. Any pointers would be most appreciated. 2020-09-10 16:21:31.617 Info HttpServer: HTTP GET http://10.0.0.107:8096/emby/videos/51267/hls1/main/462.ts?DeviceId=0a99a802-59af-4426-9b7d-aef7a3cf2563&MediaSourceId=bea3bb5fa300bdef19d718fffc108e2a&PlaySessionId=1daeb7514dee48f8ad87cbf1dd2f80c7&VideoCodec=h264&AudioCodec=mp3,aac&VideoBitrate=139808000&AudioBitrate=192000&MaxWidth=1920&AudioStreamIndex=1&TranscodingMaxAudioChannels=2&SegmentContainer=ts&MinSegments=2&BreakOnNonKeyFrames=True&h264-profile=high,main,baseline,constrainedbaseline&h264-level=52&TranscodeReasons=ContainerNotSupported. Luke 42085 Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Hi there, please go over an example and attach the complete emby server and ffmpeg log. thanks.
GregMo 24 Posted September 11, 2020 Author Posted September 11, 2020 I started a playlist from the web app and it played for close to 5 hours before stopping in the middle of a show. I'm just trying to figure out why it did and what I can do to keep it from doing it again. Thanks! embyserver.txt ffmpeg-transcode-a4338ee7-b62b-432d-91b7-b0104e55d7cd_1.txt
Happy2Play 9783 Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 By chance is the drive running out of space when transcoding?
GregMo 24 Posted September 11, 2020 Author Posted September 11, 2020 Just now, Happy2Play said: By chance is the drive running out of space when transcoding? I guess that it could be but I doubt it since it plays the file fine when I go back to try to play it again. If this was the issue would it be in the log file?
Happy2Play 9783 Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Clean up appears to be happening and the transcode log shows there are more segments available but playback appears to stop about the middle of the file. Not seeing anything obvious but the devs will have to comment more.
