Once you got Emby installed in AWS did you setup Emby for remote access?

If you setup Emby inside your own LAN (home network) you won't need to do anything if you only want to access the Emby server from your house.

But with the server setup in the cloud you HAVE to access it remotely as you aren't on the AWS lan.

Let's start with with knowledge base article which should have enough information for you to get remote setup working.

Let us know how you make out.

Can you post screen shots of the AWS firewall and passthrough/port forwarding you have setup in AWS?

Of course, with pleasure I attach the captures of the steps that you realize, they located a few steps for example as the configuration of the route that I could not realize, where it is the configuration for the wifi does not appear to me, only appears ethernet image.thumb.png.7b62ea724750dbdb714f24e0c909d4a2.png

Your machine is running on the local network with an ip of 10.0.04 and the external IP is 13.84.160.84

Where is your forwarding of the outside IP to the inside IP?

Only one port appears to open on that external ip also.

I just happened to notice you're testing port 80 at canyousee me but your Emby Server is setup on port 8096.

If you setup port 80 to 8096 forwarding then you need to change the remote port in Emby Networking for non SSLto port 80 as well.

Yes brother, I have created a new port rule in which I have placed port 80, but according to what you are telling me, how do I do that, please explain to me if you would be so kind

You don't need to show me what you got.  You need to change it to what I showed you.

You opened port 80 on your router so you need to set Emby to use port 80 in the remote setting I showed above.

You also need to make sure you are forwarding WAN IP port 80 to internal machine port 8096 on the Emby Server.

It's ok brother, only I already tried changing the port 80 and it didn't work, what I haven't tried is to see the WAN 80 ip forwarding to the internal port, I really don't know how to do that step, can you support me with that?

Do me a favor and try this.

Open port 8096 on your router and set the remote port back in Emby to 8096.

Does this work?

What is your router model number?

Unless I missed something this is a server hosted in AWS (Amazon) so you don't have a router to do port forwarding with in the conventional sense.

What you normally have to do if using plain old AWS is open 8096 and 8920 and use them with Emby default ports.  This way you just open the ports to the machine but don't need to forward ports per say.

Sorry, as I mentioned earlier the only port open on  that WAN IP is RDP (at least from a common port standpoint).

@Administra If you want to install TeamViewer on your Emby server I can take a look and see if I can give you a hand.  But you would have to remote in with RDP at the same time.

Let me know.

I don't know brother, since I'm trying to configure an EC2 of amazon web server (AWS) just install my windows server 2019 and configure emby, but the server in local everything works fine, the bad thing is that for example if I want to access from my own computer or from my mobile does not make me the remote connection, by mistake

Of course, brother, I will gladly install it and give you access to the server, only that instead of the program you told me about, I can recommend another one, I use it and I think it is better, there is no need for you to install anything, if you think this is the link
https://anydesk.com/en/downloads,
just download it and run it, I will give you the key to connect, but if you don't think so, no problem, I can install teamview
