So, there is already a fix in your internal source code tree, but until now it isn't available for beta releases?! Or will it be in the next beta?!

So are we saying scroll rows will be able to accomidate images of different aspectratio?  So mixing say 4:3 and 16:9 images in the same row?  I can see that being a cosmetic nightmare.

I can see the logic for making the images evenly spaced, so there's the choice of fitting the 4:3 images into the same space as the 16:9 ones either by stretching them or pillarboxing them.  Personally I find actual distortion of the image an unacceptable corruption.  The number of 4:3 films will usually be far smaller, so appeals to some supposed "ugliness" of using pillarboxing do not impress me.

In the case of series, though, a change of aspect ratio is very unlikely, so spacing according to the actual image aspect ratio makes complete sense.

On checking, I have exactly two series whose aspect ratio changes between seasons (one of which covers 35 years, so that's no surprise); but even then, it is simply a single switch from 4:3 to 16:9, which doesn't strike me as a cosmetic nightmare, really.

@pwhodges I've merged your topic into here as it is discussing the same issue. Thanks.

Did you refresh metadata (including images)?

Are we talking about videos that are showing "Anamorphic=yes" ?

@pwhodges - is it fixed in your case?

(I'm asking because I had tested the fix against sample videos he had provided)

Where do I find the chapter images to delete the wrong ones so I can check?
