Guest Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 Hi, I found that even if a background is added to the artist's page, it is not displayed. Test with five artists and the image is not displayed. Before it was normal. Thanks for any tips.
Guest Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 I opened the artist page, images icon, add background and the image is there in 1920x1080px

Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 (edited) This is a Person details not a Artist details as it is showing Movies not Music, they are two different views. People don't really have backdrops as they normally inherit the backdrop of the media you see them in. Now a person search just opens the person with no backdrop. Opening a Artist via Music displays the artist backdrop. So is this a Artist issue? If so please show the Artist view. Edited August 31, 2020 by Happy2Play
Guest Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 (edited) Hi, thanks for responding. I understood what you mentioned and in this case, I typed the term "artist" but I wanted to refer to "person", because I am from Brazil and here we call any artist in the artistic field, such as singers, actresses etc. In fact, it is in fact the background image of the 'person' Jennifer Lopez that is not being displayed, and yes, I have always seen their background image. It may have been removed, but I always had them. If there are no more there, nothing can be done, but if there is a resource to apply the background image, I believe that it should continue showing. Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 (edited) Pretty sure there are other topics on this, but custom backdrops don't apply to people anymore even though you have the ability to apply them via image editor. @Luke Edited August 31, 2020 by Happy2Play
Guest Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 Yes, I forgot to mention that the images are applied manually in the image editor and not by tracking Emby libraries. I always apply the image using the editor and they were always displayed and now, no more.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 Pretty sure they have not applied to People for quite some time.
Guest Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 That's it, the feature was removed as I thought. Even though it was removed, I believe that when adding the image manually by the image editor, the scenario should be displayed to people. Too bad it doesn't.
Luke 42078 Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 What happens is, when you're on a movie viewing the movie backdrop, then click onto a person, we keep the backdrop from the previous screen so that you can continue to see the movie backdrop while looking at the person. That's why this is different here.
