Some actor and crew images suddenly not functional?

For some odd reason some of my cast & crew images are showing up as grey boxes, doing a full meta refresh and replace exisiting images on the movie library does not fix this...

If i go in manually and click each grey image and hit refresh metadata and replace exisiting images it fixes it for that particular image, but this isn't very great, having over thousands of broken actor images doing it manually is not a good solution.

How can i trigger emby to do a full refresh of a library and replace cast & crew images without having to manually click each picture?

Hi, the image URLs have expired. The next release should handle this better. Thanks.

Okey but will i be able to refresh all images in next release if they have expired? I would prefer if it cached these images locally if possible. It is also sort of a privacy concern if the images are simply embedded from another webserver, that means when i am browsing my own private library requests are being sent to servers outside my network which sort of a privacy concern?

Thanks for the continued updates and great work you guys do :)

There are provider requests that Emby does not hammer their site so people images are only downloaded when you enter the persons itemdetails page.  So until then Emby initially only gets a url to the image and TMDB has been doing some cleaning and deleted a lot of images and you see the issue with that blank placeholder.  The next version will attempt to resolve this issue.  There are several current topics and a plugin that was created to try and fix current issue.

Thanks for the info, its just strange that the images were all fine, then suddenly they became grey, i would see the issue if they didn't download to begin with, but they were good until just recently when they started poofing, i had to do some research to see if it was my storage path for the cache that was corrupting but nothing like that, anyway glad to see you guys are on top of it, thanks!

The issue is almost already fixed on the latest beta server, you need to refresh the libraries with the option "missing"

Some actors are not there because the TMDB changes but the dead actors link are already fixed.

In my case is fixed in around 90%
