External IDs are IMDB, TheMovieDB, and TVDB

right but what are they?

If I use naming like this they display properly, files named the same as folders.

The only difference for mine is I don't have the original air dates in the actual file names.

Plus....my Series icon only shows 37 episodes so it doesn't see my missing ones at all

Are you External ids correct?  I don't have a issue removing the original air date from file either.

I'm sorry but I simply don't know what you mean by my external IDs being correct

What numbers are displayed in those external id fields?

For the individual episodes or the series as a whole?

Yes, my external IDs are exactly the same as those, but when I check the Season ID it only has one from TheTVDB which is 6000

These series as everything below it comes from that series metadata normally.

I answered you at the same time you answered me

I have the same for season 1.

So without looking at everything in reference to Season 1 I am out of ideas as I can reproduce a issue with using -part in naming, but renaming resolves the issue for me.

Mine just don't show up at all no matter what I do

No matter what I do it shows I only have 37 episodes yet I have 39 in the folder

Have you tried moving these files out of the library, scanning then starting to put them back using the 2 that go missing first?  I mean put those 2 in and scan library to see what happens?

No, I''l try that. I only moved those two out, rescanned, moved them back in and then rescanned.....3 times

OK, I did that and for some reason episode 26 and 27 show up as episode 1 and 2

Try renaming just those, using the s00e00 notation.

That's what Happy2Play was saying earlier that you likely had multi-versions

Can you show us the exact naming convention being used for these two files, folders, and parent folder name?

TV Shows\Ultraman\Season 1\26. Monster Majesty (1) (Jamuary 8, 1967)\26. Monster Majesty (1) .mkv

TV Shows\Ultraman\Season 1\27. Monster Majesty (2) (Jamuary 15, 1967)\27. Monster Majesty (2) .mkv

I checked the indivdual files and they are different videos so the content of the files are correct, Emby is just indexing them incorrectly

I just tried the same as what you have above and it identified them correctly.

I'm using the following two meta providers setup in my library in this order. TheTVDB, The MovieDB

OK, I also had the Open Move Database as number three and I simply unchecked that and refreshed the metadata and now everything is fine for some odd reason
