thekingswolf 48 Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Getting this error daily. I don't see a corresponding Scheduled Task. Server is running fine otherwise.
Luke 42083 Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Hi there, please attach the information requested in how to report a problem. Thanks !
thekingswolf 48 Posted August 27, 2020 Author Posted August 27, 2020 hmm i swear i attached the server log but it was pretty big, i'll try again embyserver.txt
Luke 42083 Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Are you sure this is the right one? It doesn't look like it ran during this time period.
thekingswolf 48 Posted August 27, 2020 Author Posted August 27, 2020 yeah the screen shot above shows the failure at 8/27/20 12:39:35am and this log has timestamps from that time frame, I don't see anything either so i'm not sure what's going on
Happy2Play 9783 Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 (edited) Here is the error from the log. I would assume the same error for 4 days. 2020-08-27 00:39:35.270 Error TaskManager: Error *** Error Report *** Version: 4.4.3.0 Command line: C:\Users\TKW\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\EmbyServer.dll Operating system: Microsoft Windows NT 6.2.9200.0 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True User Interactive: True Runtime: file:///C:/Users/TKW/AppData/Roaming/Emby-Server/system/System.Private.CoreLib.dll System.Environment.Version: 3.1.4 Processor count: 32 Program data path: C:\Users\TKW\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata Application directory: C:\Users\TKW\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system System.Runtime.Serialization.SerializationException: System.Runtime.Serialization.SerializationException: Type definitions should start with a '{', expecting serialized type 'Foo`1', got string starting with: at ServiceStack.Text.Common.DeserializeTypeRefJson.StringToType(ReadOnlySpan`1 strType, TypeConfig typeConfig, EmptyCtorDelegate ctorFn, KeyValuePair`2[] typeAccessors) in C:\BuildAgent\work\912418dcce86a188\src\ServiceStack.Text\Common\DeserializeTypeRefJson.cs:line 173 at ServiceStack.Text.Common.DeserializeType`1.StringToTypeContext.DeserializeJson(ReadOnlySpan`1 value) in C:\BuildAgent\work\912418dcce86a188\src\ServiceStack.Text\Common\DeserializeType.cs:line 58 at ServiceStack.Text.Json.JsonReader`1.Parse(ReadOnlySpan`1 value) in C:\BuildAgent\work\912418dcce86a188\src\ServiceStack.Text\Json\JsonReader.Generic.cs:line 101 at ServiceStack.Text.Json.JsonReader`1.Parse(String value) in C:\BuildAgent\work\912418dcce86a188\src\ServiceStack.Text\Json\JsonReader.Generic.cs:line 83 at ServiceStack.Text.JsonSerializer.DeserializeFromString[T](String value) in C:\BuildAgent\work\912418dcce86a188\src\ServiceStack.Text\JsonSerializer.cs:line 45 at NanoApi.File.Read[T]() at NanoApi.JsonFile`1.Delete(Predicate`1 lambda) at Emby.Kodi.SyncQueue.Data.DbRepo.DeleteOldData(Int64 dtl) at Emby.Kodi.SyncQueue.ScheduledTasks.FireRetentionTask.Execute(CancellationToken cancellationToken, IProgress`1 progress) at Emby.Server.Implementations.ScheduledTasks.ScheduledTaskWorker.ExecuteInternal(TaskOptions options) Source: ServiceStack.Text TargetSite: System.Object StringToType(System.ReadOnlySpan`1[System.Char], ServiceStack.Text.TypeConfig, ServiceStack.EmptyCtorDelegate, System.Collections.Generic.KeyValuePair`2[System.String,ServiceStack.Text.Common.TypeAccessor][]) Edited August 28, 2020 by Happy2Play
Solution Luke 42083 Posted August 28, 2020 Solution Posted August 28, 2020 Underneath the server's data folder, look for a file called Emby.Kodi.SyncQueue.I.1.40.json. Try deleting that and see if it happens again after that.
thekingswolf 48 Posted August 29, 2020 Author Posted August 29, 2020 deleted. will report if worked or not
thekingswolf 48 Posted August 31, 2020 Author Posted August 31, 2020 seems to have worked, error hasn't come back. thanks.
mmm77 1 Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 I have the same problem since 2 weeks... Will also try the solution. Mike
