Season Posters Not Loading

Hi- This is odd. I entered a TV series into tvdb and started a fresh library TV style and made TVDB the source, but season posters are not loading. Instead its loading the main poster for each of the 3 seasons. What can I do or check in Emby to find out whats wrong? I did a lot of photoshopping to make nice season posters!

Hi,

So you're trying to get Emby to use the posters you already have vs pulling down from web correct?

How do you have these images on disk in your folders?

No someone told me instead of making my own metadata (pics, titles, etc) just become a contributor at the db's we pull from. So I created the above series and uploaded all the pics, then in Emby I created a fresh TV library to try to pull them all down automatically (my current pics are stored in a local windows directory, and my Emby video library is on a shared USB drive - I am trying to keep it clean with just the media files and no .nfo files (for now) and get it all to pull down cleanly without fuss.

When I clicked the link you provided above I didn't see anything listed as season posters.  Do you see them listed?

Does the TVDB even have season posters?  I thought we got those from the Movie DB...

Oh my gosh, I thought I had uploaded season posters to TVdb - I got the posters ready in 1000 x 680 pixels, but I guess I never uploaded them because they may not have that feature! 

I entered the same series at moviedb and they do have season posters

 I guess I'll just point my Emby to that db as well (both). Will it use tvdb first and then get the season posters from moviedb?  I do like moviedb a lot too - it's just that officially workout videos need to be entered in as individual movies (but marked as video), so technically my TV series that I entered could get deleted anytime. I may need to bring the topic up to moderators to see if they will accept fitness videos as tv series, now that tvdb is allowing them (as long as they are actually a SERIES). Ok thanks everyone! Sorry for the trouble - doing too many things at once lately (and on a 3-day fast)!

That only applies to Season metadata

Note it takes about 24 hours before updates become available from TVDB.  So the image added to day usually will not be available until tomorrow.  But each provider has a different interval of when updates are available.
