Trying to connect to emby with connect

I’m trying to use connect to connect to emby I type in the code and it gives me a server error. Can someone help me please I tried uninstall  emby and reinstall but still won’t work

plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz can someone help me?  having issue trying to sign into emby.  i go to the sign in code and it will say confirmed pin then i hit next on the tv screen then it goes to an iP address 192.168.1.1 and port 8096 and hit ok then it goes right back to the code screen.  frustrating!

First thing you need to do is setup your server so it's available remotely.  Follow the instructions in this knowledge base article

You have to enter you Emby server ip address on this screen, 192.168.1.1 should be an example and normally that address would be your routers gateway not the ip of the machine you have Emby server installed on.

Did you follow the instructions for the use of the pin on the screen?  Does your server have remote access as cayars linked?

Did you link your Connect username to a local username?

This pin option should link a device login with that Connect username on your server.
