Folder covers removed after Library Scanning

I have a couple of folders, each divided into different folders under 1 main library - Movies: eg. Marvel Movies, James Bond Movies, etc.

For each of these folders, I have replaced the cover art with a customized one.Oftentimes, whenever I add new folders into the main library and do a library scan, the images for these folders get removed and replaced by the cover art of the first movie in each of these folder. I have previously Checked "Lock this item to prevent future changes" after changing the artwork but this issue keeps happening. Any advice?

Hi.  My first question would be why not use our Collections feature to create this organization instead of needing to fall back on folder browsing?

If you must use folders, however, please tell us exactly how you "replaced the cover art".  Did you use the "Edit Images" menu?

Hi, thank you for your prompt response. My movies are already grouped by folders in my GDrive Account according to the abovementioned categories.

Yes, for the folders, I had used the edit images function and selected the cover art. These cover art are attached and uploaded from my computer.

Best guess is a write issue sending that custom image to that folder and the fallback location is getting dynamically changed.  So my question would be does the folder on gdrive contain the custom image?
