Actor Metadata not fully Downloading

Hey so I'm having a issue with new content that has been added. EMBY is no longer showing the actor role automatically when downloading or refreshing metadata, old content has not been affected only new content that's been added I've attached some photos showing the issue I can attach a log file if needed. Thanks

Change TMDB back to number one in your prefered metadata provider order of your libraries.

What is your metadata downloader order?  I will guess OMDB, then TMDB.  OMDB does not contain a Role only by name.

 

Technically this was a change to be able to get actors listed in OMDB metadata.  So we see these side effects seen in attached topic.

All already processed items would have to be Refreshed once you change the provider order.

TMDB is the main metadata supplier i haven't changed any settings since my initial set up which would have been a few years ago, this issue is a recent issue as new media isn't being added properly in my attached photos the added media date is about a month apart between the "old" and "new" media.

What server and TMDB/OMDB plugin versions?

Does metadata comes from Emby?

If you Refreshed the item does it get the Role?

Actually looking at the Overview of Ransom the information came from OMDB.  So my guess would be your connection to TMDB api failed.  Only way to verify this would be to look for errors in your server log.

Thank you i took a look at the logs and it had failed several times, might have to look into why now thanks for the help.

if im looking at this correct, under the Error report section in the logs says error code is 111, it is working now i noticed that it had several failed connections to open subs as well, i was having some network and switch issues which i believe was causing timeout error for embys connections, it had also failed creating a port map multiple times so honestly no clue if it was something within embys config, or my router switch issue.

OT:  Honestly unless you know you use port mapping/UPNP I would disable it.

Thanks I did, I definitely don't need that on I think i might have accidentally tapped it in the mobile app when scrolling through settings.
