cw-kid 192 Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 (edited) Hi The last two days my Emby server has died. I am running Emby on a Windows 2008 R2 Server (WHS 2011). I've tried rebooting several times but Emby now does not work. I cannot see any Errors in the Emby server log. I am running Emby with the system tray app not as a Windows service. Any ideas how to fix this ? Thanks Actually I've just seen this error in the log: 2020-08-22 13:36:48.139 Error HttpClient: Error getting response from http://192.168.0.2:8081/mobile/ *** Error Report *** Version: 4.4.3.0 Command line: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\system\EmbyServer.dll Operating system: Microsoft Windows NT 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True User Interactive: True Runtime: file:///C:/Users/Administrator/AppData/Roaming/MediaBrowser-Server/system/System.Private.CoreLib.dll System.Environment.Version: 3.1.4 Processor count: 2 Program data path: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server Application directory: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\system System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (10061): No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. at System.Net.Http.ConnectHelper.ConnectAsync(String host, Int32 port, CancellationToken cancellationToken) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at System.Net.Http.ConnectHelper.ConnectAsync(String host, Int32 port, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at System.Net.Http.HttpConnectionPool.ConnectAsync(HttpRequestMessage request, Boolean allowHttp2, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at System.Net.Http.HttpConnectionPool.CreateHttp11ConnectionAsync(HttpRequestMessage request, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at System.Net.Http.HttpConnectionPool.GetHttpConnectionAsync(HttpRequestMessage request, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at System.Net.Http.HttpConnectionPool.SendWithRetryAsync(HttpRequestMessage request, Boolean doRequestAuth, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at System.Net.Http.RedirectHandler.SendAsync(HttpRequestMessage request, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at System.Net.Http.HttpClient.FinishSendAsyncUnbuffered(Task`1 sendTask, HttpRequestMessage request, CancellationTokenSource cts, Boolean disposeCts) at Emby.Server.Implementations.HttpClientManager.CoreHttpClientManager.SendAsyncInternal(HttpRequestOptions options, String httpMethod) Source: System.Net.Http TargetSite: Void MoveNext() InnerException: System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. Carlo 4561 Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Hello cw-kid, Try shutting down Emby and reinstalling Emby right on top your current version. Let us know if this helps or not. If not please upload the the emby server log as an attachment so we can look at the whole log. Thanks
cw-kid 192 Posted August 22, 2020 Author Posted August 22, 2020 Its back up now. Seemed to be related to DVBLink that service wasn't running. Hopefully that fixes it. Thanks
Carlo 4561 Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 OK great, glad you got it figured out. Let us know if you need additional assistance.
