No but that's the thing, i shouldn't be lagging with 2mbs, 1 or 5

This i me watching right now a movie at 120mbs from my phone with no lag.

That's what i'm trying to understand why does my users lag when watching movies at 2mbs or 5 and sometimes they can watch at 10 or 15 and have no problem

Sounds like the ISP is throttling the connection as needed or using some form of QOS that penalizes the user.

Is your server using SSL?  Often times that helps to hide activity from your provider.

Yeah, I really think your ISP is throttling. You said it played correctly with Plex? I would assume that's because you stream through their servers. But with Emby, it streams directly from you machine. And the ISP can see that. If this is the case, you'll either need a VPN service or possibly just an SSL.

SSL

Or use a VPN that will allow portforwarding. Torguard is one

But i think that my dns provider will not me use a free ssl certificate because they already provide ssl certifcates, but they are asking for a csr file, how do i get that

Do you see the same results if you disable Throttling?  Dashdoard-Transcoding

But sounds more like connectivity.
