Show latest accross all libraries by content type?

Is there a way to show something like the latest 10 items of a content type instead of per library? i.e. across all TV show libraries, and all movie libraries?

Plex does this, and I think it's a really nice feature, as I have my content organized into about 10 separate libraries. As it stands now, users won't know something has been added to some of the libraries unless they scroll all the way to the bottom of the home screen. So just having that grouped by type display, across all libraries is very functionally practical to me.

Plex is built on Content type and Emby is built on Library.

Typically you use multiple libraries of the same type when you INTENTIONALLY want to separate content views.  If you want only one set of notifications you would only use one library and maybe take advantage of Folder Based Access Control to different parts of the one library.
