Changing Artwork to Store In Media Folders Question About Cleaning Up

Hi, 

I have some very very large libraries in Movies/TV/Music and after a glitch where Emby suddenly could not see any of my media (do not know why) I restarted the Emby container and now all my media is missing it's artwork so I have changed the library settings to store artwork in the media folders but would like to know how I can clean up the (presumably still existing) artwork from my cache drive?

Is there an explanation of the emby directory structure so I can work out what directories I can delete? searching only shows up naming structures.. I have 70GB of metadata on my emby installation I would like to clean up.

You could do a blank explorer search for backdrop or clearlogo or discart or landscape or poster (pretty sure all people/artist are folder.ext)

You would search your /metadata/library folder. The grey area is older databases are still linked to the old /metadata/people folder and genre folder, but new ones are not.
