Re-adding NFO files upon "scan" not "refresh"

Some NFO files were wrongly created with older versions of MBS. So, I went ahead and deleted them. I was hoping that MBS will recreate the missing NFO files upon library scan. Unfortunately, I realized that it does not do this, but "only" adds the NFO back when doing a manual "refresh".

Is this intended behavior and/or could this be changed in one of the upcoming releases?

the procedure for that is a refresh on the edit page. we don't do magic tricks here, use the web interface.

you can do them in bulk from top level folders if you like, that will help avoid doing them one by one. takes even less clicks than pulling up the folder and deleting the files.

Unfortunately, the bulk refresh doesn't really work given I have thousands of movies. But this has nothing to do with MBS, but is an issue of too many movies and not sufficiently stable internet / metadata providers. It typically gets stuck after a few hours.

But no worries, I can indeed manually refresh them. It's just 20 movies or so, so shouldn't take forever.
