H.265 supported on Windows Server 2019

I have loaded in some media encoded with H.265.  Emby recognises the files, but does not offer any episodes to play.  I suspect this is because there is something missing from my setup that means I cannot decode H.265.

I am running Windows Server 2019 on a Hyper-V VM which performs very well in all respects ... except for this case.

Am I trying to do something that is not possible?

What do you mean by "Emby recognises the files, but does not offer any episodes to play"?

Emby doesn't care if the server can handle h.265, and if the client can't it will transcode (in its own software if necessary) to H.264.
