amaga 4 Posted August 17, 2020 Posted August 17, 2020 Hi I've been trying to play a movie but I keep getting an error saying "No compatible streams are currently available" on the web client. When I try through the Alexa app, it also gives up with an error message that says "Too many errors". I'm attaching the server and ffmpeg logs hoping someone can help me figure this one out. Thanks embyserver.txt ffmpeg-remux-f48c364a-737c-489b-9a45-37466275e593_1.txt
Carlo 4561 Posted August 17, 2020 Posted August 17, 2020 Hi If you don't mind me asking you, how many mount points do you have in your Movie Library? I'm see a few errors in the log for: file:D:\Movies\Movies S\Spider-Man Far From Home\Spider-Man Far From Home.por.default.srt: Invalid data found when processing input Also looks like D:\Movies\Movies M\My Girl\My Girl.mkv has issues as well. If you were trying to play back Spider-Man with subtitles turn on, try without them as the srt's is a definite problem. I'd replace these two files with different encodes and try again.
amaga 4 Posted August 17, 2020 Author Posted August 17, 2020 Removed the sutitles and it worked. Thank a lot! It is strange, because the movie plays fine with subtitles in VLC. 1
Carlo 4561 Posted August 17, 2020 Posted August 17, 2020 You're welcome friend. Often times even if you don't understand the logs you can do a quick scan of them and see sections that are pretty obvious errors. Then if you look at the 10-20 lines of error there will something mentioned in that section. If this case the SRT can been seen as a problem. Glad you got it fixed!
Luke 42085 Posted August 17, 2020 Posted August 17, 2020 Chances are that file looks like valid srt contents but it might not actually be.
