Live backups of emby?

Hey, 

I run emby in docker / kubernetes. Unfortunately the datastore got temporarily disconnected and it caused the library.db file to be locked. I backup this folder every day so I reverted to an older backup and had the same problem. Then realised its because the backup was created when the database was in use and blocked. 

So the question I have is how do I do regular backups of my database files, without having to shutdown the server to do so?

Hi, for the raw database files you won't be able to do that. But I would suggest checking out our backup guide:
