How does Emby put content into aired order?

Hi,

I've learned that if I want items added to a playlist to be in the aired order, rather than adding the title to the playlist, I should add the seasons one at a time - starting with one, not season 0/specials. This generally works. But I ran across a TV series where a few specials were left out of the order altogether. Since I'm not sure where Emby pulls this info from, I'm not sure how to fix it. In the short term, I just manually added the two missing shows and put them in the right order but I still wonder how this works so that I can understand how it went wrong. The airdate is shown on all the shows so it should have worked if it was simply pulling from airdate.

Any info would be great. If you need the specific example, it's Inspector Morse. The two missing shows were "Death Is Now My Neighbor" and "The Remorseful Day". Oddly, it did correctly grab the other three specials. Death Is Now My Neighbor aired before one of the specials that it correctly pulled so it's not like it just left off the last two shows.

Hi, we just go by season and episode numbers. You might just want to reorder that playlist manually.
