Devonleto 0 Posted August 7, 2020 Posted August 7, 2020 (edited) Good Morning, I wanted to reach out to see if anyone has any ideas on this as I'm kind of stuck. I recently moved my move and TV files to Network storage device, however after that the TV section in the main screen is no longer allowing my to just click the next up to play the episode, it just spins and does nothing. This is the case for most of my library but not some of the shows (More on this below) If I try to go into the show and click the episode from the library same thing. The only way that I can get the episode to play is if I click the play next button in the show folder. I thought it might have something to do with the way the library synced after I moved it so I removed it completely and re-scanned it. However on the first pass it did not completely scan my entire TV Library and I had to do it again. Meaning that it saw the show folders but did not actually have any episodes in the folders. The shows that it did scan on first pass are not affected by this bug. *Quick Edit* If i try to play the episode from the actual episode screen I get a no streams available error, however I don't have a bit rate max and the file is pointing to the correct location which were challenges I faced in the past. The movie library is not affect at all. I've attached my log for this morning let me know if you have any ideas of what I could do in order to fix this challenge. Thanks! - Devon embyserver.txt Edited August 7, 2020 by Devonleto
Devonleto 0 Posted August 7, 2020 Author Posted August 7, 2020 Okay i did a bit of digging and it seems that this is the same challenge that I am having. I'm going to try and remove the shows from the folder re-scan and then re-add. However I do not know my way around a SQL database that well and wouldn't know how to clean out the library.db. I also ran the vacuum from the system.xml and that did not help.
Luke 42081 Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 Hi there, how are your files named and organized?
Devonleto 0 Posted August 9, 2020 Author Posted August 9, 2020 TV is Drive, TV folder, Show, Season, episodes. Following the advise of the other thread, I ended up with a fresh install as everything listed there wasn't working. It looks like that has corrected the scanning challenge, however now there is a challange with the resume playback. However I'm not sure if that is a program side or a drive side, still working on trouble shooting to see what the problem is.
