Luke 42077 Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 Yes it might be possible to support directly in future updates. Thanks. 3
Carlo 4560 Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 I tried to create an account via VPN so I could setup and try this. That way I'm at least familiar with it. It doesn't like my email accounts and "knows" I'm across the pond due to my email addresses. If anyone has a spare free account or could create one I'd greatly appreciate if you could PM me the account info. Appreciated, Carlo
pünktchen 1409 Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 @cayarsin Telerising there's an option to get a Zattoo lineup without an account. That gives you only a handful channels, but it's enough for testing. 1 1
pünktchen 1409 Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 Oh, and you have to enable the advanced option to append m3u8 to the playlist streams to get it working for Emby. 1 1

pünktchen 1409 Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Doesn't Tvheadend need pipe through ffmpeg? If so, then it's probably even slower than directly in Emby. 1

pünktchen 1409 Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 NextPVR and TVMosaic CE. But i don't know if they support fmp4 streams. 1

horstepipe 422 Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 I ended up using xteve in between (with ffmpeg buffer). Emby is direct playing the streams now and I can disable remux for all users. Best regards

You are using telerising api to get the m3u, fedding that into xteve which generates m3u for emby? Correct? How re the switching times between channels? That's the only downside using telerising -> emby directly. thx
horstepipe 422 Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 You add xteve as hdhr tuner, not by m3u - but besides of this, correct. I don’t think switching times will differ as xteve needs to use ffmpeg, too. But I will check with a stop watch again.
popy 71 Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 ok, thx. so what's the benefit of adding another ffmpeg (xteve) in the chain? my guess is, it makes it even slower? Would be nice if you can check the switching times.
horstepipe 422 Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 Benefit is that I do not have to enable remux for my users. This sometimes makes the server unnecessarily remux videos. in fact it seems to be a little better with xteve: xteve -> emby -> client: 7 seconds emby -> client: 10 seconds.
popy 71 Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 ok thx. than it's no option. @cayarsdid you get an test account running with an VPN? Would be really nice if native support (via plugin) of zattoo will come. thx
Carlo 4560 Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 No, even with the VPN running through a server in Switzerland it goves me an error just like without it. I'm pretty sure they are filtering out known VPN IP address spaces. If anyone knows a VPN that works I might be able to get a test/trial and test with that.
popy 71 Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 I am using SmartDNSProxy myself from Austria and can use the Switzerland channels. You must set your device DNS to the ones given from SDNS proxy.

Hi, I can't made telerising + xteve work. Can you tell me your settings in both of them ? Thanks a lot.

Meeko 35 Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 I have integrate zattoo with Telerising-api!! link: https://github.com/sunsettrack4/telerising-api it works perfect. Only the start times are a little bit longer. Epg i have this: https://github.com/sunsettrack4/script.service.easyepg-lite best regards
