hi @luke

The emby closes unexpectedly weekly. It is necessary to start the emby brutally for it to return.

Attached is the log with the problem.

https://www.mediafire.com/file/mmw7o3swj7swmw8/embyserver-63730270245.txt/file

I have a lot of users on my emby server. Would you like to receive weekly logs from my server for study?

The linked log is 888MB.  But all I really see is this error spammed 237000+ times.

Hi @Happy2Play you as always help me a lot.

Could you say if I can avoid this error?

hi @luke

I'm on version 4.4.2.0

In version 4.4.3.0 was this error corrected?

Posted

Not specifically, but I think it would be worth trying. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

Understood.

I will organize an update and as soon as possible, return here on the forum with news.

Thanks for your attention <3

Looks like you are on 4.4.2. I would try updating to 4.4.3.

Hi Luke,

Thanks for answering me.

Could you look at the other log files?

Perhaps the file you looked at is from the old version.

The previous log files are from the moment the server closes.

Attached is an updated log file.

Perhaps this is your issue again?

The image was deleted and the server still closes.

As explained before, the server only closes if we access the user panel.

It closes automatically when accessing the "users" field within the admin panel.

Right but that's exactly what could cause the problem from that other thread, if one of those images has been uploaded to one of your users.

Could you tell which image / file should I delete?

What user code should I delete the file from?

Unfortunately I can't understand the logs.

I need to access the users field.

Could you help me please?

@igeoorge If you install TeamViewer on you machine I can remote in and try to give you a hand with this.

Just send me via PM your TeamViewer userid and one-time use password.

Hi friends, @luke and @Happy2Play

I deleted all the images in the folder:
/ var / lib / emby-server / config / "users"

Also delete two files that are in the data folder:
users.db-wal
and
users.db-shm

I restarted the server.

But unfortunately that didn't work either.

Please can you help me?

The following is an attachment in the log.

Every 30 minutes the server goes down.
or
If I try to access the "users" field in the admin panel it will also drop.

I pressed the "users" field button on the admin panel to be able to generate an error log.

Attached log is attached.

The last thing shown in the log is:

2020-08-04 00:38:20.956 Debug XmlSerializer: Deserializing file /var/lib/emby-server/config/users/7c5d671abafb42c794ba92d0dc9e0908/config.xml

I'd start first looking at that account but you may need to look at accounts in the log that did get processed correctly compared to folders listed under /config/user to see what hasn't been processed yet.

Hi,

Unfortunately I did not understand your explanation.

Could you explain what I should do?

I looked for the config.xml file in the location:

/var/lib/emby-server/config/users/7c5d671abafb42c794ba92d0dc9e0908/config.xml

But unfortunately there is no config.xml file there.

Hi guys,

Again I delete the files:

users.db-wal
and
users.db-shm

in the data folder.

After deleting, I restarted the server and it worked!

Finally!

Thanks for the huge support @cayars, you were amazing friend!
