Multiple versions of Movies not working

There is your (part) issue as filenames must match folder name, then space hyphen space then your version.

Each version must begin with the folder name, followed by " - ".

  • Alita Battle Angel (2019) - version 1.ext
  • Alita Battle Angel (2019) - version 2.ext

@BuzStringerOr utilize the plugin and name/organize how you like.

thanks, but I just tried that, Copy and pasted the folder name, refreshed the libary  Still the same

Both versions need the same format so your Proper is incorrect.

Follow up question if i rename my entire libary to for the correct naming scheme will i loose all of my playcounts / status?

No as they are tracked by providerid not path/naming.

Note the is no distinction between versions when it comes to played state.
