Collections not marked watched

First thought this was Android based but not sure now.  When on my NVidia Shield TV if all movies are watched in a collection the top level collection checkbox isn't checked.  Checking it turns green and unchecked again.  If I pull it up on Chrome on the PC none of them show watched either at the collection level.  So if I want to filter out all collections already watched I can't.

Hi.  We don't show the watched mark on folders (collections, series, etc) anymore but, also, collections are a kind of virtual item so don't really have a watched status themselves.

That's what I was afraid of.  I missed the old way of doing collections.   I still think there is an icon in the app at least for Android to hide watched when in the Collections.  Doesn't work but seems to be the same icon as in the regular movies area.

Is there a chance to get the watched icon back for collections whose movies are all watched?

Movie lists are looking ugly with only movies watched icon.

I couldn't find anything in the cover art either.
