alberto.bracci 0 Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Hi, Emby server on Manjaro linux here. I recently set up an emby library for audiobooks. The first i uploaded is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I should have followed the guide to set up the folder structure but emby just shows one random chapter in the library. Here is how I set up the folder: audiobooks/J.K. Rowling/Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban/Chapter xx.mp3 Is this the right way?
Luke 42077 Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 Hi @alberto.bracci, what do you mean by one random chapter? Where does that happen?
alberto.bracci 0 Posted August 12, 2020 Author Posted August 12, 2020 ehi Luke, thanks for the reply. Upon further inspection it seems the chapters have been loaded, still there are weird irregular metadata. What I see in the library, given the above folder structure, is this: which seems to indicate some files have some metadata inside which causes the wrong label "HP_Azchaban", some recognise J.K.R while from 17 on they all show the file name. With the correct folder structure and naming convention I believe emby should be able to pick up the correct metadata online and recognize things like author, title ecc. Am I right? Or is this the correct behavior?
