ShaHor_Kamhi 0 Posted July 18, 2020 Posted July 18, 2020 HI all I have tried from many days now to connect remotely. I have tried to port forward in my TD-W9980. I also tried to turn off the win firewall to verify that this is not the cause. I tried connecting with EMBY connect. I add my user and password and get the screen to select the server. I always get the message "Unable to connect to the selected server" Any ideas? or maybe a link to a good tutorial (i tried several) Thanks E
Carlo 4561 Posted July 18, 2020 Posted July 18, 2020 Forget about using Emby Connect until you have remote working. Firewall port forwarding looks ok assuming you are using the default ports in Emby. There is a troubleshooting section in this knowledge base article: https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001849007-connectivity How far do you make it?
aaronsomek 13 Posted July 20, 2020 Posted July 20, 2020 You've tried connecting with and without SSL? Are you sure you've enabled remote access for the user?
